Comprehensive Package
The package begins with a 2 -hour consultation with the student and family, which includes a thorough discussion of a student’s transcript, extracurricular activities, and standardized testing. The focus is understanding the student’s interests, needs, and goals to best begin planning their individual strategy and approach. This process can begin as early as second semester sophomore year.

*Coach students on how to research colleges and connect with college reps
*Provide individualized timeline for the student and parent(s)
*Develop timeline for standardized testing, discuss test options
*Advise on curriculum plan for junior and/or senior year

*Assist with brainstorming and editing supplemental essays for 10 applications
*Connects with Kristina DeVesty for work on the personal statement
*Prepare student for college visits, including development of personal questions to consider during college tours
*Coach for college interviews
*Aid in selecting teacher recommendations
*Devise the best strategy for Early Decision, Early Action, Rolling Admission, and Regular Decision
*Discuss potential scholarship opportunities
*Guide on timeframe to apply for Financial Aid
*Support student in weighing college offers
*Develop action plans for deferral and wait list options

List Package
The goal of the College List Package is to identify a comprehensive initial list of colleges for the student. Recommended for families whose primary goal is identifying possible college options and who do NOT need assistance with college application management
*10 hours + 2 hour consultation with the student and family
*Develop a list of 15-25 schools that will enable students to identify and apply to the college(s) that most closely matching their skills, aptitude, and interests
*Review student and family questionnaires
*Discuss and review of student’s transcript, extracurricular activities, standardized testing, and financial situation
*Analyze student’s interest, strengths, skills, and academic and extracurricular goals
*Develop a college resume, a working document designed to present the student in the most favorable light
*Assist with Common App activity list descriptions
*Advise on how to research colleges and how to ask questions during an information session and interview
*Review how to use Naviance/Scoir
